About the Team
Years of experience in the insurance investigations, domestic investigations, criminal investigations, and law enforcement fields has enabled API to put together one of the best and most unique team of investigators in the industry. API utilizes investigators who view the industry as a profession and a career, not just a job. As a result, our investigators are full time. There are no part time investigators on our staff.
Robert
Robert is founder and co-owner of API. Robert has been working in the state of Colorado as an investigator for nearly 6 years. He is fluent in speaking, writing and reading Spanish. He is a senior member of PPIAC and is highly experienced in insurance fraud investigations, surveillance, service of legal process, and taking English and Spanish statements. Robert has trained investigators in stationary and mobile surveillance, the use of surveillance equipment, and writing effective reports. Robert has worked surveillance cases all over the state of Colorado. Additionally, because of his experience in locating court records and conducting research on the road, he has conducted surveillance in other states. He has worked cases for all of the major insurance companies in Colorado.
Andrea
Andrea is co-founder and co-owner of API. Andrea is a senior member of The Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC) which requires over 6000 hours of investigative experience. Her training background includes over 365 hours of investigative courses and over 6 years in the field. Andrea is licensed as an investigator in Kansas and specializes in workman’s comp. surveillance as well as auto claims investigations, general investigations, theft investigations and private investigations. Andrea has worked cases for all of the major insurance companies in Colorado.
Dennis
Dennis brings more than 28 years of experience in the criminal justice system culminating as the Unit Supervisor of Strategic Investigations of major criminal activities on a local, state, national, and international level. His special expertise in organized narcotics trafficking apprehension allowed him to work closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI, DEA, and US Customs. He has testified in US Congressional hearings. He is certified and has appeared as an expert witness in numerous state and federal judicial proceedings. Dennis has served as a consultant and trained law enforcement in covert surveillance platforms, techniques, and equipment.
